Tomorrow, January 28, 2012 starting at 8:00 AM at the Home Depot parking lot on Admiral Callahan in Vallejo there will be a scheduled Walk to Honor Officer Jim Capoot.

Please join the walk! Register for the walk that will begin at 7:00 AM. They are accepting a $30 per person fee with all of the proceeds going to the Capoot Family Trust. By registering you will receive the official walk t-shirt at the time of Event. Dinner is included for all walk participants.

This portrait session was set up because my Clients wanted to give their grandparents something nice. What can be nicer than giving Grandma and Grandpa photos of the grandchildren? Photographing these kids it was a pleasure working with them. The kids were really good and they did a good job listening to my directions. Congratulation to Darin and Rebecca! They just got married this past weekend and Rodney Ramos Productions had the pleasure to capture their engagement session. With Darin and Rebecca having a great sense of humor it was fun to hang out with them and it was fun to photograph them. With all said and done we came out with a nice engagement collection they had a lot of nice images to select from. The images they selected also added a nice touch to their slideshow they presented during their wedding. It was truly a pleasure meeting Darin and Rebecca and having them as new clients. Ariel & Cars Modeling Shoot

Rodney Ramos Productions had the pleasure to work with Ariel. We captured a car theme photo shoot during her short time in California.

With my busy schedule and her short time visiting California I am glad we were able to come up with a day to make it happen. We had a GREAT photo shoot and now Ariel has a HOT modeling photo collection to take back to Hawaii.

Special Thanks to Steve Garcia who allowed us to use his classic Mercury Montclair Hot Rod and Make-up Artist Carolina Bermudez. Their involvement contributed to a successful photo shoot.

Patrick Irvin Music Rap Artist

Rodney Ramos Productions photographs Patrick Irvin on a regular basis. Patrick Irvin is a music rap artist. This time Patrick contacted Rodney Ramos Productions because he is working on his album and with the album almost ready to go into productions Patrick needed some images for it.

The look we were looking for was an urban graffiti look. So we set up the photoshoot at this bridge covered with graffiti. It was perfect! I think we captured what Patrick was looking for. It's fun photographing Patrick. He a great guy and very talented. I wish him the best of luck with his Rappn' career. As soon as his album goes on sale I'll be in line to buy it so he can sign my copy.

I'm looking forward working with Patrick again in the near future. Until then, enjoy these images.

Riko Bay is an Actor who needed to update his portfolio so Rodney Ramos Productions was available to assist him with new photos.

Riko Bay is an Actor/Model who was first introduced to the Arts with his debut role as (Private Perez) in the national stage production, “ETERNITY”. Riko also captivated audiences with his leading role as (The Man) and (Preacher) in the theatrical stage play, “SURRENDER ROW” which was a Simply Shyla Production. Riko's most recent work took place in the record breaking, sell out Ivory Arts Musical Production of "THE WIZ" where he played multiple roles (Uncle Henry, Lord High Underling, an Oz Citizen and a Jungle Kalidah).

Riko Bay has always had a passion for the Arts (specifically acting) and is working towards taking his career to the next level. Riko looks forward to seeking roles that will challenge him mentally, physically, emotionally, and spiritually. Riko embraces the opportunity to share his gift with the World and looks forward to learning something new every day. On the flip side, Riko is also excited about the opportunity to express himself artistically through commercials, voice-overs, various types of modeling and print work.

Congratulations to Dion! Dion recently graduated from Center High School in Sacramento, CA. Dion leaves Dion Center High School as one of their star soccer players.

Rodney Ramos Productions had fun photographing Dion's high school senior portraits. We went to a couple of urban style locations. Dion at first was unsure with the photoshoot locations. He trusted me and saw the results of the first set of Rodney Ramos Productions photos and was sold. Dion he was impressed with the images already captured. It was nice to hear Dion was happy with his high school senior portraits had a fun time being photographed.

With Dion's session I got the chance to break out with my infrared camera. The last sample image is a photo taken with my infrared camera.

I do not know who's busier Rodney Ramos Productions or Tori. With school, homework, and volleyball I'm surprised we were able to find a date we both were free to get her Senior Portraits captured. With all the times and dates we went through it was well worth the wait. The weather was perfect and it was fun having them as Clients. I enjoyed spending a couple of hours with Tori and her mother. They both were easy going and they a plus they laughed at my corny jokes. Tori's mother was even nice enough to help me with my reflector. Thank you mom, your help made a difference with the lighting.

So far the group of 2011 High School Seniors I've photograph have been a fun group of people to work with and I do have to add Mariah to this fun group. When I first started working with Mariah she was a bit shy but once she got warmed up being in front of the camera and a chance to sneak a peek of her images we took during her first session all the nervousness and awkwardness went out the window. With Mariah having fun we were coming up with some awesome portraits results of Mariah.

I funny thing about us knowing each other, I tried to teach her Break Dancing and Breanne's mom tried to teach me ballet. As you can I did not go too far with ballet. The Almond Orchards were blooming when Rodney Ramos Productions captured Lizanne's High School Senior Portraits. The location we went to was a great location because we had a lot of different colors and tones to work with. Lizanne selection of outfits she wore during her photo session added a nice touch to her portraits. My favorite outfit she wore was her dad's High School Letterman Jacket. On this day we came out with a nice Senior Portrait Collections for Lizanne.

We do not have a time or date but when Lizanne is all finished with school and all ready to get married her mom already picked out her wedding photographer. Guess you she has in mind? ;)

I told Lizanne's mom by that time Lizanne is ready to get married I'll be ready too because I should have another 10 years experience under my belt...lol.

Thank you to my colleague and good friend Alex Chernak he captured some footage of me during a recent High School Senior Portrait Session. Since he did I thought it would be fun to share with my fans the behind the scenes of Rodney Ramos Productions. Brenda and Melvin recently got married and what a celebration they had! The lovely couple celebrated their wedding with their family and friends and Rodney Ramos Productions was the photographer who captured this joyful event. Our day started off early in the morning and carried through late evening. They had a large wedding party and a lot a family and friends who were attendants so did not have any difficultly capturing and recording the wedding couples event. Perfect timing for Christmas Cards. Their Christmas Cards turned out really nice. It was a nice feeling when I saw the final results, their Christmas card turned out so cute! I am sure the photo prints made great photo gifts too.

These little guys are growing so fast and they are getting around lot faster too, these guys were giving me a run for my money keeping up with them with my camera. I had a lot of fun capturing the boys portraits and looking over their photos the kids had fun being photographed outdoors. With this session we came out with a nice selection of portraits, I am confident their photo will be cherished year after year. It's always a pleasure capturing these little guys. Woodland Veterinary Hospital Annual Pet Portrait Day

This special event was made possible by the Woodland Veterinary Hospital www.woodlandvethospital.com. This is an annual event Rodney Ramos Productions loves to be involved with. It's always a pleasure working with Woodland Veterinary Hospital and their Patients. We had a full day of photographing and this year we collected dog food/cat food as their session fee so we can donate the food to the Woodland Pet Food Pantry. This year was very successful, we got a lot of food for homeless pets.

Belinda will be getting married to Melvin early next year but for now they're telling their family and friends to "save the date"! Rodney Ramos Productions had the honor to captured their images for their Save the Date announcement cards. With the couple of hours we spent we had a great time taking fun loving photos. The image they selected was a perfect selection for their save the date card. When I received their save the date cards in the mail I was impressed because with the photo and the card they selected look very sleek and professional.

These are America's Next Lil' Models! They are the cutest little girls who knows how to hit a pose. These girls were really good at following directions and were really good at holding the pose. As you will see in my samples they had a GREAT photo shoot. The were not modeling for Macy's or Nordstrom's but they surely outa be. Christian is a student at Vanden High School. He is graduating this Friday, he is the Class of 2010. Christian will be leaving Vanden High School with nice memories playing varsity football and having great friends.

I was thinking how fun to capture Julie and Chucks engagement in Las Vegas. Once I got there I realized how challenging it got to be being out in the a crowed public. location We had to jockey for or spot at certain famous landmarks, worry about getting kicked out by casino security for taking photos inside the gambling area, and also fighting the weather. Rain! Yes, it actually rained on engagement session day in Las Vegas. Despite of all the challenges and the rain Rodney Ramos Productions came through and captured some nice images of Julie and Chuck in Las Vegas. It was a pleasure capturing Julie and Chuck's engagement and I am excited because Rodney Ramos Productions will be their official wedding photographer on their wedding day.

Alexis Mcilvanie Portrait Session

Rodney Ramos Productions had a nice opportunity to spend a couple of hours photographing Alexis. During her portrait session I got to know her and with the information she shared with me Alexis is a busy girl with being a Junior in high school, Varsity Cheer leading, Swim Team, Ballet, and taking care of her dog.

It was a fun session. Since it was her photo session I had Alexis print some thing that symbolize her so during her session I captured photos of Alexis with we ballet shoes and her very cute dog. Her dog did just as good as Alexis during the photo session. He stayed on que the who time he I was photographing them. As you will see with my photo samples you will see we came out with some nice images of Alexis. I wish Alexis the very best during her high school years. I look forward and will be waiting for Alexis to contact me again to capture her Senior Portraits next year.

Rodney Ramos Productions Entered His First Professional Photo Print Competition

Tonight, Rodney Ramos Productions enters for the first time a professional photo print competition with the Professional Photographers of Sacramento Valley. With my first competition I am please with my results.

Drum roll please........ My photo "Liberated Woman" scored an average of "78"! There were 4 judges judging the print competition. All the images competing were separated into different categories and they are as follow: "Portraits", "Wedding/Events", "Commercial", and "Fine Arts/Unclassified". Tonight's competition there was a total of 19 photo prints competing. "Liberated Woman" was classified into the Portrait's categories and in this category there were a total of 10 images competing. "Liberated Woman" end up tied with 4th highest average score (78) with the scores ranging 74 being the lowest print scored and 84 being the highest score. Unfortunately "Liberated Woman" did not score highest score to get "Best of Show" however it appears looking over the rules I scored high enough to earn an "Award of Merit Ribbon"

This being my first competition I am satisfied with the results, it was a GREAT experience. It was good to hear the judges constructive feedback's and learn from their from them. I am looking forward competing again in the near future with more Rodney Ramos Productions' images.

My hats off and I applaud the winning image who won "Best of Show". This winning image came from the Portrait's category who also had the highest average score being an 84. Good job!

What a small world we are in! When I booked Taylor's photo shoot I've learned I photographed in the past Taylor's big sis Alex. I do have to mention when I met Taylor I instantly knew Taylor and Alex are related. Just like her big sis, Taylor is "beautiful" and "friendly". Taylor is outgoing and easy going. These two girls were fun to photograph. They both are playful, spunky, and easy to work with. We also had a session taking photos of them and their pet dogs. The pet portraits came out nice too. The kids had Rodney Ramos Productions take their portraits because they wanted to give their grandparents photos as gifts. What a nice gift to give to their grandparents. With their session the kids were easy to work with they were quick at their feet when I gave them posing directions. The outcome was a lot of nice portraits, even the candid ones trying to get the dogs attention were fun to look at. With this photo session I had the opportunity to capture their family portraits, children solos, and baby portraits. The photo session when well that day, we came out with a lot of nice images which will become priceless as time passes because we all know kids grow up fast. My favorite photo I captured that day was my signature "Male Bonding" Father and Son portrait. I look forward working with the Clark family again in the near future!

The Wedding of Danielle & Chris

Danielle and Chris got married in the late fall and during this time we got his with some rain. However, the rain did not stop Rodney Ramos Productions from capturing some nice images to last a lifetime. Danielle and Chris has a lovely wedding, it was a pleasure being a part of their wedding.
