The Engagement of Julie & Chuck

The Engagement of Julie & Chuck - April 25, 2010

Julie and Chuck will have a casino, poker, fun theme wedding. Therefore, they decided they wanted Rodney Ramos Productions to capture their engagement portraits in Las Vegas. I was thinking how fun to capture Julie and Chucks engagement in Las Vegas. Once I got there I realized how challenging it got to be being out in the a crowed public. location We had to jockey for or spot at certain famous landmarks, worry about getting kicked out by casino security for taking photos inside the gambling area, and also fighting the weather. Rain! Yes, it actually rained on engagement session day in Las Vegas. Despite of all the challenges and the rain Rodney Ramos Productions came through and captured some nice images of Julie and Chuck in Las Vegas. It was a pleasure capturing Julie and Chuck's engagement and I am excited because Rodney Ramos Productions will be their official wedding photographer on their wedding day.

Alexis Mcilvanie Portrait Session

Alexis Mcilvanie Portrait Session

Rodney Ramos Productions had a nice opportunity to spend a couple of hours photographing Alexis. During her portrait session I got to know her and with the information she shared with me Alexis is a busy girl with being a Junior in high school, Varsity Cheer leading, Swim Team, Ballet, and taking care of her dog.

It was a fun session. Since it was her photo session I had Alexis print some thing that symbolize her so during her session I captured photos of Alexis with we ballet shoes and her very cute dog. Her dog did just as good as Alexis during the photo session. He stayed on que the who time he I was photographing them. As you will see with my photo samples you will see we came out with some nice images of Alexis. I wish Alexis the very best during her high school years. I look forward and will be waiting for Alexis to contact me again to capture her Senior Portraits next year.

Until then, enjoy your 2010 portraits that was captured by Rodney Ramos Productions.

Rodney Ramos Productions Entered His First Professional Photo Print Competition

Tonight, Rodney Ramos Productions enters for the first time a professional photo print competition with the Professional Photographers of Sacramento Valley. With my first competition I am please with my results.

Drum roll please........ My photo "Liberated Woman" scored an average of "78"! There were 4 judges judging the print competition. All the images competing were separated into different categories and they are as follow: "Portraits", "Wedding/Events", "Commercial", and "Fine Arts/Unclassified". Tonight's competition there was a total of 19 photo prints competing. "Liberated Woman" was classified into the Portrait's categories and in this category there were a total of 10 images competing. "Liberated Woman" end up tied with 4th highest average score (78) with the scores ranging 74 being the lowest print scored and 84 being the highest score. Unfortunately "Liberated Woman" did not score highest score to get "Best of Show" however it appears looking over the rules I scored high enough to earn an "Award of Merit Ribbon"

This being my first competition I am satisfied with the results, it was a GREAT experience. It was good to hear the judges constructive feedback's and learn from their from them. I am looking forward competing again in the near future with more Rodney Ramos Productions' images.

My hats off and I applaud the winning image who won "Best of Show". This winning image came from the Portrait's category who also had the highest average score being an 84. Good job!

What a small world we are in! When I booked Taylor's photo shoot I've learned I photographed in the past Taylor's big sis Alex. I do have to mention when I met Taylor I instantly knew Taylor and Alex are related. Just like her big sis, Taylor is "beautiful" and "friendly". Taylor is outgoing and easy going. It was a pleasure working with her during her photo shoot. With all said and done we had a good session. I captured a nice collection of images for Taylor with out the braces. Taylor was a patient at Tan's Orthodontics. As you will see Tan Orthodontics does good work. Just look at Taylor's smile. It was a pleasure working with Taylor and I am looking forward working with her in the near future.

The Portraits of Jessica Ibbetson's

Rodney Ramos Productions had a nice opportunity to capture portraits of Jessica. She's a fun outgoing young lady who was fun to spend a couple of hour capturing her portrait. Jessica recently got her braces off, she was a patient of Tan's Orthodontics. What a difference braces make. What a lovely smiles she had. I hope Jessica enjoys the rest of her school year as a junior in high school. I hope Rodney Ramos Productions will have another opportunity to capture her High School Senior Portraits next year.

Portraits of Marissa Tam

Marissa is in high school and stays active being a cheerleader for her school. Rodney Ramos Productions captured Marissa's 2010 portraits and we hope and look forward capturing her High School Senior Portraits in the near future. I was introduce to Marissa through Tan Orthodontics. Marissa got her braces off back in October so this a good time to capture her nice smile.

Good luck Marissa with the rest of your school year and Cheer. Contact me again when you are ready for me to capture your High School Senior Portraits.

The Portraits of B & K

These two girls were fun to photograph. They both are playful, spunky, and easy to work with. We also had a session taking photos of them and their pet dogs. The pet portraits came out nice too. The kids had Rodney Ramos Productions take their portraits because they wanted to give their grandparents photos as gifts. What a nice gift to give to their grandparents. With their session the kids were easy to work with they were quick at their feet when I gave them posing directions. The outcome was a lot of nice portraits, even the candid ones trying to get the dogs attention were fun to look at. A lot of candid photos were captured when we took portraits of the kids and their dogs. Rodney Ramos Productions looks forward working with these girls in years to come. Thanks you for having Rodney Ramos Productions as your Children Photographer.

Sean Provost & Family Portraits

Rodney Ramos Productions had the nice opportunity to meet Sean and his family. Sean was a patient of Tan Orthodontics, who recently got his braces off. With that said I took headshots of Sean without the braces and also took portraits of his family. If you are ever in Woodland you have to stop into Dutch Bros Coffee, he's the owner. Stop in so you can taste how GOOD the coffee is!

The Photo Shoot of Holly Johnson-Covell

Rodney Ramos Productions recently capture Holly on her wedding day and what a beautiful bride Holly was. A few months later Rodney Ramos Productions captured Holly with her everyday look. As you will see with the images captured Holly has that model look. Holly don't only have the good looks she also has the brains too. Holly recently graduated from University of San Diego this past 2009. Congrats Holly! Rodney Ramos Productions is looking forward working with Holly again in the near future.

The Portraits of Miranda Williams

Miranda got her braces off this past October, she was treated by Tan Orthodontic. As you will see in the portraits captured by Rodney Ramos Productions Miranda has a nice smile.

Miranda plays volleyball for her high school. She will be ready next season delivering her mean spikes and a pretty smile after she scores a point. Good luck Miranda with high school volleyball. Contact me again in a couple of years so I can capture you as a senior. I would love to capture your senior portraits and you as a senior varsity player. Good luck the next two volleyball seasons! It was a pleasure working with Miranda and her mother.

Portraits of Jillyan Swasey

Jillyan was a Patient of Tan Orthodontic and now a Client of Rodney Ramos Productions. Her portrait session was scheduled to be out side but on that day is rained so we changed it to a studio session.

It was a pleasure to photograph Jillyan because Jillian was fun and playful. She was very good about trying trying new poses. With her session we worked with light gel and two different backdrops. We came out with a nice collection of portraits. I look forward meeting up with Jillyan in the near future to capture her High School Senior Portraits.

Class of 2010 - Breeona Cox

2010's graduation is around the corner and Breeona's is all set for graduation. Being a Senior in High School is a special time and Rodney Ramos Productions captured this time for Breeona. Her Senior portraits look good and are ready to be sent out with her graduation announcements.

Breeona is a strong and independent young lady and with this trait she was awesome to work with. You can see the confidence captured in her portraits. You will get the chance to see some of Breeona's senior collection taken by Rodney Ramos Productions. I wish Breeona best of luck and I am looking forward capturing her collage graduations portraits in 4 years :)
